योजना के बारे में
The scheme "Pre-Matric Scholarship for Children Belonging to Special Backward Classes" implemented by the Education (Elementary and Secondary) Department, State Government aims to provide scholarship assistance to students belonging to Special Backward Classes studying in Classes 6 to 8. The scheme was started in 2010 and revised in 2012. Male students are provided ₹50/- per month for 10 months, while female students are provided ₹100/- per month for 10 months. The scholarship is provided to eligible students whose parent/guardian has an annual income of up to ₹2,00,000/-.
