Chief Minister's Paryatan Vipanan Sahayata Yojana

Launched in 2025, the scheme “Chief Minister Paryatan Vipanan Sahaayata Yojana” by the Department of Tourism, Government of Arunachal Pradesh, aims to strengthen tourism marketing and brand building for Arunachal Pradesh. Through this scheme, financial support is provided to registered tourism service providers, including homestays and tour operators, to undertake promotional activities such as sales tours, participation in travel fairs, exhibitions, and road shows within India and internationally. The scheme is implemented directly by the Department of Tourism. Assistance is provided in the form of reimbursement of eligible expenses, subject to ceilings and conditions prescribed in the guidelines. The scheme seeks to enhance the visibility of Arunachal Pradesh tourism, increase tourist inflow, and support the sustainable growth of tourism businesses in the State.

Objectives

• To facilitate marketing and promotional activities of tourism service providers.
• To strengthen the branding and visibility of Arunachal Pradesh tourism.
• To support the income growth of registered homestays and tour operators.

• Maximum reimbursement of ₹60,000/- per domestic event and ₹4,00,000/- per international event.- If a stall or booth is provided by the Department of Tourism, reimbursement is limited to ₹30,000/- for domestic and ₹2,00,000/- for international events.- Reimbursement covers:

  • 100% economy class air/rail/bus fare.
  • 90% of stall or booth charges, participation fee, electricity, and water charges.

• Hotel accommodation for a maximum of 5 nights, limited to:

  • ₹2,000/- per night (domestic) - ₹4,000/- per night (international)

• Assistance is limited to 4 events per financial year:

  • 2 domestic events
  • 2 international events

1. The applicant must be a tourism service provider registered with the Department of Tourism, Government of Arunachal Pradesh.
2. The applicant must hold a valid license issued by the Department of Tourism, Arunachal Pradesh.
3. The applicant must have annual earnings up to ₹20,00,000/- for domestic events or ₹40,00,000/- for international events in the preceding financial year. 1. The applicant must show a cumulative increase of 5% in earnings over a two-year period, calculated from the base year.
4. The applicant must obtain prior approval from the Department of Tourism before undertaking the promotional activity.
5. The applicant must submit reimbursement claims within 30 days of return to the State.

Offline

Step 1: Apply for prior approval at least 45 days before the proposed event by emailing details to [email protected].
Step 2: Submit Annexure-I & Annexure-II (given in the guidelines document – Page 5 & 6) along with required documents for prior approval by emailing details to [email protected].
Step 3: Participate in the approved promotional activity.
Step 4: Submit reimbursement claim document Annexure-III & Annexure-II (given in the guidelines document – Page 6 & 7,8) with supporting documents within 30 days of return to the Department of Tourism by emailing details to [email protected].

Note: CMPVSY follows a two-stage process: Annexure-I and Annexure-II are submitted via email for prior approval, while Annexure-III, along with Annexure-II, are submitted after completion of the activity for reimbursement, within the prescribed timeline. Also all Annexures - I,II,III forms are uploaded with the guidlines document from page 5 to 8.

For Prior Approval

3. Declaration (Annexure-II) on letterhead
4. Chartered Accountant-certified earnings certificate for the last two financial years

For Reimbursement Claim

1. Annexure-III (Claim Form)
2. Declaration (Annexure-II)
3. Air tickets and boarding passes
4. Passport copy (for international events)
5. Proof of payments (bank statements/receipts)
6. Comprehensive Tour Report containing the following :

• Day-wise list of visitors with photocopy of Business Cards and
• Details of promotional activities undertaken during the tour
• Photographs of the stall/booth from all sides
• Detail list of tourists, tour operators, etc. handled during participation

1. The applicant shall not be eligible if assistance for the same promotional activity has been received from any Government department or agency.
2. The applicant shall not be eligible if prior approval is not obtained.
3. The applicant shall not be eligible if claims are submitted beyond the prescribed time limit or remain incomplete.
4. The Department of Tourism may reject applications if the event is found not to be beneficial to tourism promotion.
