योजना के बारे में

Launched in 2008, the scheme “Incentives to UPSC Qualifier Scheme” by the Department of Education, Government of Arunachal Pradesh, aims to motivate and support Arunachal Pradesh Scheduled Tribe candidates appearing in national-level examinations conducted by the Union Public Service Commission. Through this scheme, monetary incentives are provided to APST candidates who qualify the Civil Services Preliminary Examination, Civil Services Main Examination, and who achieve final selection in specified Group-A services. The scheme is implemented by the Directorate of Higher and Technical Education. Incentive amounts were enhanced in 2016 and further expanded in 2019 to include additional UPSC-conducted Group-A examinations. The incentives are granted as a one-time financial reward for each qualifying stage, subject to compliance with the notified guidelines.

Objectives

  • To encourage APST candidates to appear in UPSC-conducted national competitive examinations.
  • To recognise and reward merit achieved at various stages of UPSC examinations.
  • To motivate more youth from Arunachal Pradesh to enter All India Services and Group-A services.


लाभ

  1. ₹2,00,000/- as one-time incentive for qualifying the UPSC Civil Services Preliminary Examination. 1. ₹3,00,000/- as one-time incentive for qualifying the UPSC Civil Services Main Examination. 1. ₹2,00,000/- as one-time financial assistance on final selection in any of the following UPSC Group-A examinations:
    - Indian Forest Service (IFoS)
    - Combined Defence Services (CDS)
    - National Defence Academy (NDA)
    - Central Police Organisation (CPO)
    - Central Health Service (CHS)
    - Indian Engineering Service (IES)
    - Indian Economic Service (IES)
    - Indian Statistical Service (ISS)


पात्रता

  1. The applicant should be a bona fide Arunachal Pradesh Scheduled Tribe (APST) candidate.
  2. The applicant should have qualified for the UPSC Civil Services Preliminary Examination or Main Examination, as applicable.
  3. The applicant should have been finally selected in one of the notified UPSC Group-A examinations to avail the final-selection incentive.
  4. The applicant should submit proof of qualification or a final selection issued by UPSC.

Preference / Priority / Reservation / Relaxation

  • The scheme applies only to APST candidates.
  • No additional preference, reservation, or relaxation criteria are specified in official documents.

आवेदन कैसे करें

Offline

Step 1: Download the prescribed application form from the official website of the Directorate of Higher and Technical Education or obtain it from the DHTE office - https://apdhte.nic.in/Stipend/upsc/upsc_form.pdf .
Step 2: Fill in the application form completely and attach all required supporting documents.
Step 3: Submit the completed application offline to the Directorate of Higher and Technical Education (DHTE), Government of Arunachal Pradesh.
Step 4: After verification of documents and eligibility, the approved incentive amount is released to the beneficiary.

Can a candidate receive incentives for both UPSC Preliminary and UPSC Main examinations?

Is the incentive for final selection separate from the Preliminary and Main examination incentives?

Yes. The incentive granted on final selection in notified UPSC Group-A services is a separate one-time financial assistance, in addition to any incentive received for qualifying Preliminary or Main examinations.

Does qualifying the UPSC interview stage without final selection make a candidate eligible for incentive?
