Swami Vivekanand Scholarship for Academic Excellence Scheme

The scheme “Swami Vivekanand Scholarship for Academic Excellence Scheme” launched by the Higher Education Department, Government of Rajasthan, aims to promote academic excellence by offering financial assistance to deserving students pursuing studies at globally recognized institutions.

One-time expenses up to ₹3,00,000/- will be paid only for the first year. 2. Per month ₹1,00,000/-, but for the first month, in case of travelling abroad, 3. For living expenses per month: ₹75,000/- • Living expenses: ₹1,00,000/- per month during the remaining course period. • Students already studying abroad before the application deadline: 1. No payment shall be made for the course period prior to the application date. 2. For the upcoming course period under the scheme, monthly living expenses payable ₹1,00,000 /-; • For Study Within India: -₹25,000 per month (₹3,00,000 yearly)E285% of tuition fee or maximum ₹42,50,000/- lakh (whichever is lower) based on invoice issued by the universityLiving expenses during the course period under the scheme: ₹50,000/- per monthE3***50% of the tuition fee based on the invoice issued by the University OR maximum ₹33,00,000/- (whichever is less)**No payment

• The applicant must be a permanent resident of Rajasthan.
• The applicant’s age must be less than 35 years on July 1st of the financial year.
• The applicant must fall under one of the following income categories:

1. Category E1: Family income up to ₹8,00,000/-. 1. Category E2: Family income between ₹8,00,000 and ₹25,00,000/-. 1. Category E3: Family income above ₹25,00,000/-.

• The applicant must have secured a minimum of 60% marks or an equivalent grade in the qualifying examination.
• The applicant must have received an offer letter, confirmation letter, or admission letter from a university/institution listed in the latest Times Higher Education Global Rankings or ranked in the top 150 overall in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF).
• The applicant studying in the second, third, or final year/semester is also eligible to apply, provided they are already enrolled in the listed institutions.

Registration Process:

Step 1: Visit the official portal of Rajasthan Single Sign On: https://sso.rajasthan.gov.in/
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the "Register here" tab.
Step 3: Select ‘Jan Aadhaar’ option for registration under the ‘Citizen’ tab.
Step 4: Complete the registration process by entering your Jan Aadhaar Number.
Step 5: After successful registration, you will receive a User ID (SSO ID) and Password. These credentials will allow you to check your application status and apply for scheme in the future.

Application Process:

Step 1: To apply under the scheme, revisit the official portal of Rajasthan Single Sign On: https://sso.rajasthan.gov.in/
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the "Login to RajSSO" tab.
Step 3: Enter your username (SSO ID), password, and Captcha, then click ‘Login’.
Step 4: Once logged in, update your profile.
Step 5: Click on SJMS SMS icon, then click on "Scholarship (CE,TAD,MINORITY)" Icon.
Step 6: Fill in the required information, and upload all necessary documents on the online portal.
Step 7: After entering the information and uploading the documents, make sure to submit/save your application form.

• The applicant who is permanently employed by the state or central government, their enterprises, or institutions receiving financial assistance from them is not eligible to apply for this scheme.
