Integrated Scheme for Export Promotion & Quality Improvement in Spices and Research and Development of Cardamom: Post-Harvest Improvement: Nutmeg /clove drier (nos )

The Integrated Scheme for Export Promotion & Quality Improvement in Spices and Research and Development of Cardamom: Post-Harvest Improvement – Mechanical Dryers for Nutmeg and Clove is implemented by the Spices Board, India, under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. The scheme aims to promote the hygienic drying of nutmeg and clove using mechanical dryers among farmers. This helps in producing high-quality nutmeg, mace, and clove, improving product quality and enhancing their export potential. The scheme is being implemented in accordance with the modalities and guidelines approved by the Competent Authority under the Integrated Scheme for Export Promotion & Quality Improvement in Spices and Research and Development of Cardamom during the 15th Finance Commission period (2021–22 to 2025–26).

• 50 % of cost of unit, subject to a maximum of ₹ 37,500/- per unit for General Category and 75% subject to maximum of ₹ 56,000/- per unit for NE/SC/ST & 90% Spice Producer's Groups in Identified Clusters subject to maximum ₹67,500/-
• Individual growers having a minimum of 0.10 ha [20 nos. nutmeg/clove trees] and up to 8 ha [1600 nos. nutmeg/clove tress
• Assistance for groups/FPOs will be as in QGBG.

1.All spice growing states and regions in India/UT.
2. Designated Officials will conduct final inspection and recommend the eligible cases. Since it is a multipurpose drier the facility can be used for drying other suitable spices also and for availing assistance necessary approval may be taken from Director(Dev.) Spices Board with recommendation of Regional Officer.

Step 4: Fill in the required details in the application form.
