योजना के बारे में
The “Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension” Scheme under the National Social Assistance Programme is implemented by the Social Welfare Department, Government of Nagaland. The scheme provides a monthly pension to elderly persons to support a dignified life. It aims to provide social security to vulnerable people, especially those living below the poverty line. The programme is fully funded by the Central Government.
लाभ
People aged 60–79 years get ₹200/- per month, and those aged 80 years or above get ₹500/- per month.

- The applicant should be a resident of Nagaland.
- The applicant should be 60 years of age or older.
- The applicant should be from a Below Poverty Line (BPL) family.
- The applicant should not be receiving pension benefits under any social security scheme.
आवेदन कैसे करें
Offline
Step 1:The applicant submits the application at the District Welfare Office.
Step 2:The District Level Committee verifies applications and forwards the selected beneficiaries for approval.
Step 3: After approval, the pension amount is paid in cash by the District Welfare Officer.
