योजना के बारे में
The Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension Scheme, implemented by the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, Himachal Pradesh, is a centrally sponsored scheme that provides a monthly pension to elderly men and women aged 60 years and above belonging to Below Poverty Line (BPL) families.
The objective of the scheme is to provide social security and financial support to elderly persons who are members of families living below the poverty line.
लाभ
- Beneficiaries aged 60 to 79 years: ₹1,000/- per month
- Beneficiaries aged 70 years or above: ₹1,500/- per month
पात्रता
- The applicant should be a resident of Himachal Pradesh.
- The applicant should be a senior citizen.
- The applicant should be 60 years of age or older.
- The applicant should belong to a Below Poverty Line (BPL) family.
आवेदन कैसे करें
Offline
Step 1: The applicant shall submit the prescribed application form to the concerned Panchayat, Tehsil Welfare Officer, or District Welfare Officer, along with the required documents.
Step 2: Eligible applicants are identified in the Gram Sabha meeting, and the verified list along with the proposal is forwarded to the Tehsil Welfare Officer for scrutiny and completion of formalities.
Step 3: After due verification, the applications are submitted to the District Welfare Officer, who grants final approval for sanction of benefits.
