Free Travel for Special Abled Person

The scheme “Free Travel for Special Abled Person” by the Rajasthan State Transport Corporation under the Transport Department, Government of Rajasthan, aims to facilitate accessible public transport through providing free bus travel to eligible specially abled residents of Rajasthan.

• Free Travel Facility: Eligible beneficiaries are provided free travel facility in Rajasthan State Transport Corporation buses.- Coverage of Buses: The benefit is applicable on ordinary and express category including night services in RSRTC buses operating on approved routes.- Route Applicability: The facility can be availed up to the route where RSRTC buses are operational.
  

• The applicant should be a native resident of Rajasthan.
• The applicant should not be an income tax payer.
• The applicant should possess a valid Disability Certificate issued by an authorized subject specialist.
• The applicant should have the following minimum disability percentage:

1. The applicant should have 40 percent disability in case of orthopedic or locomotor disability, mental retardation, dementia, dwarfism, or speech and language disability.
2. The applicant should have 60 percent disability in case of low vision.
3. The applicant should have 100 percent disability in case of blindness.

• The applicant should not indulge in begging.
