Mumbai: The Delhi Police Special Cell has arrested four more people in connection with the October 18 firing at actor Tiger Shroff's car in Mumbai's Juhu area, including two women, a senior police officer said.

The Northern Range (NDR) unit picked them up on Tuesday. The accused have been identified as Kunal (21) and Sumit (19), both from Sonipat in Haryana, and Radha (23) and Babita (23) from Uttar Pradesh. They are suspected of supplying weapons to a network linked to the firing and helping coordinate it.

Three suspected shooters were earlier detained in Rajasthan's Kota. Investigators, quoted in reports, say the Lawrence Bishnoi gang first planned to target Salman Khan but changed the plan after noticing heavy police security outside his residence, and picked Shroff as an easier target with comparatively less security.

Shroff was not hit in the firing; his driver and an autorickshaw driver were injured. An audio clip in which a man claiming links to the Bishnoi gang took responsibility has circulated, but police have not confirmed the gang's involvement.

Khan was given Y-plus security after two gunmen fired outside his Bandra home in April 2024. A film workers' association condemned the attack and sought better security for industry workers. An audio clip claiming responsibility has surfaced, but police have not confirmed the gang's involvement.

Shroff's team issued a statement warning of legal action over fabricated stories and AI-generated videos falsely attributed to the actor. It said he had made no statements or authorised any communication about the incident, and urged people to rely only on official channels.
