Privacy Policy

Last updated:

Mukhyamantri (“we”, “us”, “the site”) operates mukhyamantri.com, covering news and government scheme information. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, the cookies and advertising technologies we rely on, and the choices you have.

Data we collect

Account email, username, display name, and an optional avatar; language and reading preferences if you set them; your saved chats, saved schemes and bookmarks; the questions you ask Sevak AI; payment records as described below; and basic analytics (pages viewed, device type, approximate region) collected without cookies.

Cookies and similar technologies

We and our partners use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, measure traffic, and deliver and measure advertising. Some cookies are essential for the site to work; others are used for analytics and ads and are subject to your consent where the law requires it.

Advertising and Google AdSense

This site is supported by advertising served through Google AdSense.

Consent

Where required — including for visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland — we present a consent message (a Consent Management Platform) before personalised ads and non-essential cookies are used. You can accept, decline, or manage your choices, and you can change your choice at any time through that message.

How we use your data

To deliver and secure the service, personalise content, measure performance, and serve and measure advertising. We do not sell your personal data.

Payments

When you buy a plan we record the order ID, plan, amount, date, payment method, the transaction reference (UTR) reported by the gateway, and the mobile number the gateway requires for its receipt. Cashfree Payments India Pvt. Ltd. processes the payment under its own privacy policy and sees your UPI or card details; we never do. We keep payment records for as long as Indian tax and company law requires, currently up to eight years, and then delete them.

How you found us

To learn which messages and links bring people to a purchase, we store the campaign parameters in the link you arrived by (such as utm_source) and the page you came from, in your browser, and attach them to an order if you buy. This is not shared with advertisers and is not used to show you ads.

Data sharing

We share data with service providers that host the site, analyse traffic, and serve ads (including Google), and where required by law. These providers process data under their own privacy terms.

Your rights

Depending on where you live — including under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act and the EU/UK GDPR — you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, withdraw consent, and object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise these rights.

Third-party content

External news summaries link to the original source. Copyright remains with the original publisher. Linked sites have their own privacy policies, which we do not control.

Children

The site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
