Smart Farming & Agriculture Development Programme

The scheme "Smart Farming & Agriculture Development Programme" by the Tribal Area Development Department, Government of Rajasthan, aims to improve agricultural productivity and income of Scheduled Tribe farmers through providing seed minikits, irrigation pipeline support, storage bins, movable threshing floors, plant protection equipment, and horticulture demonstrations. It also aims to promote efficient water use, reduce post-harvest losses, and encourage the adoption of improved farming practices among tribal farmers. The scheme is funded by Centre.

• Free Seed Minikits: The scheme provides 100% subsidized seed minikits for Kharif, Rabi, and Zaid seasons to ensure maximum production. - Vegetable Production: Students and farmers receive 100% subsidized vegetable seed minikits to meet nutritional requirements and increase income. - Irrigation Infrastructure: A 90% subsidy is provided for irrigation pipelines to reduce water losses and improve water use efficiency. - Post-Harvest Management: Farmers receive a 90% subsidy on seed storage bins and movable threshing floors to harvest crops easily and store them safely. - Crop Protection: Plant protection (PP) equipment is distributed at a 90% subsidized rate to protect crops from insect and pest attacks.
  

• The applicant must be a farmer belonging to the Scheduled Tribe (ST) community.
• The applicant must be a resident of the Tribal Sub-Plan (TSP) Scheduled Area in Rajasthan.
• The applicant must possess valid land holdings for agricultural purposes.
• The applicant must reside in one of the following districts: Udaipur, Banswara, Dungarpur, Pratapgarh, Sirohi, Chittorgarh, Rajsamand, or Pali.

• Obtaining Forms: The applicant can obtain the application form from the office of the Deputy Director of Agriculture (Extension) in Udaipur, Banswara, Dungarpur, Pratapgarh, Sirohi, Chittorgarh, Rajsamand, or Pali. - Submission Venue: The completed application form must be submitted to the Deputy Director of Agriculture (Extension) office in Udaipur, Banswara, Dungarpur, Pratapgarh, Sirohi, Chittorgarh, Rajsamand, or Pali.
