Free Travel Facility for Tribal Girls Studying up to Class 8th in Scheduled Caste and Tribal Areas of the State

Launched in 1994, the scheme “Free Travel Facility for Tribal Girls Studying up to Class 8th in Scheduled Caste and Tribal Areas of the State” by the Rajasthan State Transport Corporation under the Transport Department, Government of Rajasthan aims to facilitate free home-to-school travel for eligible tribal girl students through RFID-based travel access.

• Free Travel Facility: Free travel facility is provided to eligible beneficiaries for commuting from home to school and back. - Route Applicability: The facility is applicable only within the Rajasthan State area.
  

• The applicant should be a tribal girl
• The applicant should be student.
• The applicant should be studying up to Class 8.
• The applicant should be studying in a school located in the Scheduled Caste or Tribal Areas of Rajasthan.
• The applicant should be a permanent resident of Rajasthan.
• The applicant should possess a valid school identity card issued by the concerned educational institution.

Step 1: The applicant should apply for issuance of an RFID Card by submitting the prescribed documents.
Step 2: The applicant is required to submit one passport-size photograph along with the application.
Step 3: The application is to be submitted at the office of the Chief Manager of the Rajasthan State Transport Corporation.
