Mukhyamantri Kisan Mitra Urja Yojna

Launched on 1st May, 2021, the "Mukhyamantri Kisan Mitra Urja Yojna" implemented by the Energy Department, Government of Rajasthan, aims to provide additional electricity bill subsidy to eligible rural agricultural electricity consumers through adjustment in their electricity bills. The scheme has been implemented from the billing month of May 2021. From the billing month of June 2023, eligible metered consumers using more than 2,000 units per month and flat-rate agricultural consumers having a connected load of more than 15 Horsepower (HP) receive an additional subsidy of up to ₹1,000/- per month, subject to a maximum of ₹12,000/- per year, in addition to the existing tariff subsidy. The subsidy is credited through an adjustment in the electricity bill.

• The applicant must be a rural agricultural electricity consumer.
• The applicant must belong to the general category.
• The applicant must receive electricity under the Block Hours Supply category.

Offline

Step 1: The eligible agricultural electricity consumer should approach the concerned electricity distribution company office.
Step 2: Obtain the application form free of cost.
Step 3: Fill in the application form with the required details.
Step 4: Attach the required supporting documents, if applicable.
Step 5: Submit the completed application to the concerned office.
Step 6: The electricity distribution company verifies the applicant's eligibility.
Step 7: On approval, the eligible subsidy is adjusted in the consumer's electricity bill.
