Free Travel Facility for Women/Girls on Women’s Day and Raksha Bandhan

Launched in 2010, the scheme "Free Travel Facility for Women/Girls on Women’s Day and Raksha Bandhan" by the Rajasthan State Transport Corporation under the Transport Department, Government of Rajasthan, aims to provide free travel facility to women and girls of Rajasthan on International Women’s Day and Raksha Bandhan through Rajasthan State Transport Corporation buses up to the Rajasthan state border.

• Free Travel Facility: The scheme provides free bus travel to women and girls of Rajasthan on 8th March (International Women’s Day) and Raksha Bandhan Festival Day. - Coverage of Buses: The benefit is valid in all categories of buses except AC buses. - Route Applicability: Free travel is allowed only up to the Rajasthan state border.
  

• The applicant should be a woman or a girl.
• The applicant should be a native resident of Rajasthan.
• The applicant should be travelling on International Women’s Day or Raksha Bandhan.

• The applicant should approach the bus conductor or the booking office while travelling.

• No Documents Required (Benefit Provided During Travel Time).
