योजना के बारे में
The "Folk Art Festival" is a cultural initiative of the Art, Culture and Museums Department, Government of Goa, aimed at providing a common platform for all folk performing groups in the state to interact, share ideas, and showcase their talent in a competitive spirit while preserving traditional folk art forms. Participation is invited through press notes in local newspapers. The festival is organized at the regional level, and selected groups from these events qualify to perform at the state-level festival, held at venues decided by the Kala Academy.

- 1st Prize: ₹3,000/-

State Level
- 1st Prize: ₹10,000/-
- 2nd Prize: ₹7,500/-
- 3rd Prize: ₹5,000/-

- Free entry for all visitors

- The applicant must be a Goa folk performing group actively involved in preserving and promoting traditional folk art forms of Goa.

Offline
Step 1: Obtain the entry form from the office of Kala Academy Goa (free of charge) and fill in all required details.
Step 2: Submit the duly filled entry form to the Member Secretary, Kala Academy Goa within the stipulated deadline.
