Home Minister Amit Shah told the BJP's state working committee in Lucknow that a third term in Uttar Pradesh would bring a Uniform Civil Code to the state, after Uttarakhand. He called the BJP 'Angad's foot' in the state and predicted a repeat of 2017. Akhilesh Yadav's reply was a one-liner.
