Centre notifies telecom regulatory sandbox rules to test new tech
The Centre notified the Telecommunications (Regulatory Sandbox) Rules, 2026, letting eligible firms, startups, researchers and individuals test new telecom technology with certain regulatory exemptions. A sandbox can run up to 24 months.
