JPSC OMR scam: CID files first charge sheet, reveals ₹60-70 lakh 'rate card'
Jharkhand CID filed its first charge sheet against five key accused in the JPSC OMR sheet manipulation case. Investigators found a 'rate card' of ₹5 lakh to ₹60-70 lakh to pass unqualified candidates. Candidates were made to hand over original documents, blank cheques and signed sheets.

Uttar Pradesh Police's Economic Offences Wing has arrested Madhumita Kaur, director and CEO of V-Care Multitrade Private Limited, in an alleged Rs 250-crore insurance and investment fraud. She was picked up in Ranchi, brought to Lucknow and produced in court. Twenty-six criminal cases are registered against her and others across four states.
