Two civil society bodies have made fresh demands in Manipur. The United Naga Council wants the Assam Rifles withdrawn from Naga areas over alleged shelling in Kamjong district, while the Joint Tribes Council has sought an independent probe into the killing of three Meitei civilians and a review of the Suspension of Operations.
