A Supreme Court bench of Justices M.M. Sundresh and P.B. Varale said on Thursday that its orders curbing firecrackers had been violated year after year, and that religious freedom is subject to public health. It asked the Centre and the Delhi government to enforce action against sellers of spurious and banned crackers.
