The Maharashtra government has approved the release of ₹4,000 crore for the Punyashlok Ahilyadevi Holkar Farmers' Loan Waiver Scheme 2026, a Cooperation Department resolution says. Total funds made available under the scheme now stand at ₹18,001 crore. The order does not say how many farmers will benefit.
