Four years becomes six: 75% of Agniveers get a second shot at a uniform

The Cabinet has cleared an extra two years of engagement for the 75% of Agniveers who were to leave after four years. CDS General NS Raja Subramani announced the change in New Delhi on Wednesday, saying those who stay on will be considered for regular enrolment. The selection criteria, vacancies and service-wise terms have not been made public.
