Minister A P Anilkumar's route to the KPCC president's post has run into the Chief Minister's resistance. V D Satheesan will not reshuffle the Cabinet six months into his government's term and reads the proposal as a factional demand. Minister Ramesh Chennithala is backing Joseph Vazhakkan for the same post.
