Free Travel Facility for the Mentally Challenged

Launched in 2010, the scheme "Free Travel Facility for the Mentally Challenged" by the Rajasthan State Transport Corporation under the Transport Department, Government of Rajasthan, aims to provide free travel in ordinary, express, and night bus services along with one companion to mentally challenged disabled persons.

• Free Travel Facility: Eligible beneficiaries are provided free travel in Rajasthan State Transport Corporation(RSRTC ) buses. - Coverage of Buses: The facility is available in ordinary, express, and night services. - Route Applicability: The facility is available only on routes where RSRTC buses are operational.
  

• The applicant should be a resident (domicile) of Rajasthan.
• The applicant should be a mentally challenged person.
• The applicant should have at least 40% disability,
• The applicant should not be an income taxpayer.

Offline

Step 1: The applicant should collect all required documents for verification.
Step 2: The applicant should apply for the issuance of an RSRTC RFID card to the Chief Manager’s Office.
Step 3: After successful verification, the RFID card is issued and used to avail free travel in eligible RSRTC buses.

   1. Certificate of not being an Income Tax Payer.
   2. Disability Certificate Issued by an Authorized Medical Specialist (Minimum 40% Disability).
   3. Passport Size Photograph.
