He is confident that these works will completely change the face of Nashik and Trimbakeshwar, that they are planned for the next 25 to 30 years, and that they will be completed on time with high quality.

Ahead of the flag-hoisting ceremony for the Simhastha Kumbh Mela, the Chief Minister personally visited the sites and inspected the development works. These included the sacred Godavari Ghat at Trimbakeshwar, the Darshan Path being built for devotees, Dwarka Circle, the main hub of Nashik's traffic, and the works at Ozar airport.

So the works under way here are not limited to the Kumbh alone. They are laying the foundation for the development of Nashik and Trimbakeshwar for the next 25 to 30 years. Modern infrastructure, a a full transport system and modern town planning are being built so that devotees, saints and tourists do not face any trouble."

A grand Darshan Path and Godavari Ghat for devotees at Trimbakraja's court The work on the Darshan Path and Godavari Ghat is being carried out in a well-planned manner, given the large number of devotees who come from across the country to the Shri Trimbakeshwar temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas. Despite geographical challenges, the work is moving fast towards completion under the Chief Minister's guidance. The arrangements are being built to world-class standards so that lakhs of Warkaris, devotees and Shiva devotees can have darshan easily, without obstacles, and the sanctity of the pilgrimage is preserved.

Dwarka Circle and Ozar airport: a new direction for traffic The Chief Minister personally inspected the work on Dwarka Circle, the hub of Nashik city's traffic. Officials said this very complex work is moving towards completion ahead of schedule, and a water-logging test during this monsoon was successful. Special precautions have been taken so that the area does not get waterlogged in future.

The Chief Minister also reviewed the expansion of the runway and terminal at Ozar airport, to serve national and international devotees arriving by air. He directed that infrastructure related to air travel be given more momentum in the next phase.
