Literary Award

The "Literary Award", organised by the Kala Academy under the Department of Art and Culture, Government of Goa, aims to encourage Goan Konkani and Marathi writers for their creative literary contributions. Entries are invited through press notes released in local dailies, and submitted books are placed before the Advisory Committee for their recommendation and selection.

The award includes ₹10,000/- along with a memento and certificate, presented at a special function.

The applicant should be a Goan-born writer.

Step 1: The interested applicant should visit the Kala Academy, Goa, and request a hard copy of the prescribed format of the application form from the Office of Tiatr Academy of Goa, Block A, 2nd Floor, Campal Trade Centre, Campal, Panaji, Goa.
Step 2: In the application form, fill in all the mandatory fields, paste the passport-sized photograph (signed across, if required), and attach copies of all the mandatory documents (self-attest, if required).
Step 3: Submit the duly filled and signed application form along with the documents, within the prescribed period (if any), to the academy staff.
