Operating Sports Hostel

Launched in 1996, the scheme "Operating Sports Hostel" by the Tribal Area Development Department, Government of Rajasthan, aims to promote sports among tribal students and prepare them for higher-level competitions by providing hostel accommodation, sports training, food, study materials, and other facilities to tribal students studying in classes 6th to 12th.

• Free Hostel Accommodation: Selected students are provided free residential hostel facilities in sports hostels. - Food and Nutrition: Students receive free meals, breakfast, and a special nutritional diet as per the approved pattern. - Sports Training: Professional sports training is provided by trained coaches and experts. Training is conducted using modern sports equipment. - Educational Support: Students are allowed to continue regular schooling in nearby schools while staying in the sports hostel. - Study Materials and Uniform: School uniforms and other essential study materials are provided free of cost.
  

• The applicant must be a tribal student.
• The applicant must be residing in the state of Rajasthan.
• The applicant must be currently studying in any class from 6th to 12th.
• The applicant should be free from any physical disability or any type of disease.
• The applicant’s father or guardian must not be an income tax payer.
• The applicant must not have failed in their previous academic class.
• The applicant must successfully pass the prescribed Battery Test for selection.

• Where to Apply: Applicants can apply by visiting the nearest E-Mitra kiosk. - Application Fee: The application form for the "Operating Sports Hostel" is free of cost. - Selection Process: Admissions are granted based on the performance in the Battery Test and the decision of the Selection Committee.
