Online
- Students can apply online for scholarship by visiting the NSP Portal of Government of India (https://scholarships.gov.in/). - The following documents will be attached with the application: Aadhaar card of the applicant, caste certificate, mobile number, certified photo and CBS bank account which is Aadhaar linked/seeded, previous class passed mark sheet, self-declaration certificate that the applicant is not taking benefit of any other scholarship scheme of the government.
- The student sends the application to his educational institution with his own ID; the concerned educational institution forwards the received online application form online to the District Social Welfare Officer.
- The District Social Welfare Officer examines the received application form and gets the complete application forms physically verified. Incomplete application forms, which can be corrected, are temporarily defected and those which cannot be corrected are permanently rejected. The amount is sent directly to the account of the eligible applicants as per the availability of budget.
