The “Merit Scholarship (Top 3 UG Students)” scheme is implemented by Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar, under the Department of Agriculture, Government of Uttarakhand. The scheme aims to recognize and support academically outstanding undergraduate students by providing monthly financial assistance in the form of scholarships to students in their 3rd year of Medical and 4th year of Veterinary undergraduate (UG) programs.

Offline
Based on the scores provided by the Registrar's Office, the Dean of Student Welfare prepares a list of the top three students in each undergraduate program. The list is then approved by the Registrar and the Vice-Chancellor, after which the scholarship is disbursed to the selected students.
