The scheme "Mukhyamantri Gyansetu Merit Scholarship Yojana" by the Education Department, Government of Gujarat aims to select 30,000 brilliant students who have completed their Class 5 education consecutively in government, aided, or RTE-approved schools and provide them with scholarships to study in selected government, aided, or private schools from Class 6th to Class 12th. लाभ
Government Schools and Government -aided Schools (Approved by Education Department):
- For Class 6th to 8th: ₹5,000/- per year.
- For Class 9th to 10th: ₹6,000/- per year.
- For Class 11th to 12th: ₹7,000/- per year.
Private (Selected) Schools:
- For Class 6th to 8th: ₹20,000/- per year.
- For Class 9th to 10th: ₹22,000/- per year.
- For Class 11th to 12th: ₹25,000/- per year.
Frequency of Disbursement:
- Disbursed annually in two installments; the first 50% is given after confirmation of at least 80% attendance in the first semester.

- The applicant must have passed the Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by the State Examination Board and be listed in the merit list.
