The scheme "Mukhyamantri Anchal Amrit Yojana" was launched by the Department of Women Empowerment & Child Development, Government of Uttarakhand. The scheme aims to improve the health of children between 3 to 6 years of age by providing them fortified and flavored milk containing Vitamins A and D, four days a week, at Anganwadi Centres.
